Have you ever found yourself just tuning into an old Seinfeld episode when you can’t find anything to watch, only to experience some decision-making anxiety when you need to choose between The Bubble Boy and The Contest (both great episodes).

Last summer, Hulu added a “Yada Yada Yada” button to Hulu on Apple TV (4th Gen or newer) so you can play a random Seinfeld episode. I tried it earlier today, waited for 8-10 seconds, and then The Millennium (S8 E20) started playing, where George is recruited by the New York Mets, Elaine tries to run an ethnics-themed clothing store out of business and Jerry is caught in a speed dial ranking war between his girlfriend and her step-mom.

On Twitter, Hulu even teased that this option might be introduced in more places.

It’s easy to imagine using this option on many TV series available on Hulu that don’t have a strong serial arc. Comedy shows like Key & Peele, Nathan For You, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Parks and Recreation, and also “case of the week” series like Law & Order: SVU, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation and similar shows.
